Life In My Eyes

Life is full of surprises, and everybody knows the line. Life has this power to surprise us at any point, anywhere anytime, we do not know. We are always moving ahead even when we think we are not. It is not only the time that goes on, as we always say, but also the every aspects of life… dreams, passion, perceptions…life goes on and is actually a one step closer to death each second we breathe, considering a ‘second’ equivalent of one step.

On a philosophical note, life is a big canvas, on which we paint our stories that we go through at different stages with the bright and dark colors of our feelings and the reality we endure. Having a philosophy helps in living in a certain way, not necessarily always. There is both difference and relation between reality and philosophy, its better if we spot these correctly. We can get deeper in the subject but cannot acquire the full understanding, nobody can; even the saints are in search of meaning always. More we know, more we get hungry to know further. Life also has the quality of confusing us and being unnecessarily complex, or is it us who do this to life?


The fact is death only is the ultimate truth. Living a life completely depends on our fate and our karma. We do not get to choose where we are born. As we grow, it is all upon us to realize our responsibilities and to decide the way we live the life. We can take it simple, depends on our eyes. Only thing I believe is do the work and get the outcome. Sow and you shall reap.

Two years ago, while I was working in a remote village Mailung of Rasuwa district, I had hardly thought that those Rasuwa days would stay fresh in the reminiscences for many years to come. Honestly, the photos that I had captured are the main reason behind this. Whenever I look at those in my gadgets, all the things related to it start to float in the mind. It was my first professional job, a fresh graduate, and to be honest, I was not that good at my work. The sad truth is that the education we get here doesn't make us fully prepared in the practical field when the college is over. The certificate helps, so does the theoretical knowledge; but the most essential of all is the adequate practical knowledge that is always lacking in our educational system. On the other hand, this also depends on the students themselves. This is whole another topic to talk about. Not today. I did many mistakes. I got scolded by the seniors. I learned. There were fellow colleagues and few seniors those were helpful. I had quite an experience. Less sweet and more sour.
