Stuck Between Options

You arrive at a theater and decide to watch a movie alone. You've a full day free and there are not one but three or four nice movies playing but you're aware that you've got money for just one movie ticket. Now, if it is said that not any one of them has your favorite actor or actress, and that you cannot walk away without watching movie what will you do? May be you go random. Or how will you pick up one? 

You are buying a shirt. Same case, you are stuck between two or three really nice shirts but you've got a budget for only one. Nice colors, nice prints, nice designs, nice fit. How will you choose one?

Dilemma, we call it, right? As far as I have come across some situations, I call it illusion. A Big One. When you get one, many other options appear at the same time but when you have not got one, not a single one pops out. Either nothing or everything! It creates confusion. Its like too much light creating a large glow making you unable to see properly. 

I got selected from an interview for a job in the capital. I obviously wanted this from quite a few time ago. But then, I'm also having a talk with the company that I worked earlier at for the job outside of capital. Both being new type of fields, are pretty much challenging. The fact, job A pays almost half of what job B pays me! And the fact, I wanted the job within the capital, and now when I've got it, I am not even happy. I didn't even look excited and happy for getting selected. A formal "Thank you" to formal "Congratulations". And also the fact, with my interests of travelling and some deep instincts I get sometimes regarding the philosophy I follow or say enjoy, I happen to be willing to take the job outside the valley. Hell, I'm being so dumbass, I can't even be clear about what I want. I always get stuck between which options to choose. Also I'm hearing that there's the vacancy for good job back in the hometown!!

Life is giving lemons, and I am not being able to make a lemonade. Or can I say, life is giving cherries and I am not being able to place it at the top of pastry?

Rasuwa Reminders: The Shades of Nature

Two years ago, while I was working in a remote village Mailung of Rasuwa district, I had hardly thought that those Rasuwa days would stay fresh in the reminiscences for many years to come. It was my first professional job, a fresh graduate, and to be honest, I was not that good at my work. The sad truth is that the education we get here doesn't make us fully prepared in the practical field when the college is over. The certificate helps, so does the theoretical knowledge; but the most essential of all is the adequate practical knowledge that is always lacking in our educational system. On the other hand, this also depends on the students themselves. This is whole another topic to talk about. Not today. I did many mistakes. I got scolded by the seniors. I learned. There were fellow colleagues and few seniors those were helpful. I had quite an experience. Less sweet and more sour. I don't know if it adds to my nature or counts as my weakness on the work front or something else, I was always more interested in the stuff like nature, people, their stories, etc than the usual job-stuffs.
