At Some Point

As cliche as it might sound, but I truly mean it: I love travelling . Always looking for a cue to pack a bag and start off... Travelling has always been a passion, ever since the first tour I had when in college. As a kid, travelling, for me was all about going to Kathmandu, and watching movies and roaming around places with parents. I had not gone to many places until college days. I remember I was pretty excited for my first tour, which was of only one night and two days, in the third semester. As growing up happens, it becomes easier to travel on own. But the only problem there will be the budget! There will be friends and the time can be managed from college but one needs a decent sum of money to go explore those amazing places one has been dreaming of. And students have limited pocket money, that’s all. Studying civil engineering was fun when it came to college tours. We had, at least, one in each semester. “Post-vacation blues” I learnt the term that defines my feelings of now. It has been said many times but it is worth repeating - Travelling is like a drug; the more you travel, the more you crave for it. Based on this very line, I can say that I’m high now. I am happy that I had a good time. I am sad because it’s over now and I’m back. I am dull because I don’t want it to end and I don’t want to get back to normal routine. Pashupati Sharma (youtube screenshot from Je garna ni garo ) I plucked out earphones from my ears when this video came up on screen because I heard the dohori more than the songs being played on my phone. Pashupati  Sharma’s lok dohori was refreshing though.  Je garna ne garo was fun in both words and visuals. Dohori ended! Then, two men appeared complaining about fashion of youngsters in Kathmandu with not so nice music. Why do public vehicles, specially on a long tour, play these sort of songs?
