#KathmanduDiaries - Would you let your seat for needy ones while in a public vehicle?
The bus was crowded as always and I was standing, trying to balance myself in that crowd - doing so are other people. And there was a traffic jam upto Koteshwor, as always again. A woman boarded into a bus from Manohara bridge. She was carrying a little baby. Imagine now, how difficult it would have been to her? Our difficulties, relatively and comparably, are quite nothing then. But nobody offered her a seat!! After a couple of minutes, there was this one fine lady, who was also standing -- she requested a man to give his seat to that 'mother'. That very 'man', with a lot of weight, was sitting right beside the standing mother. But NO! He didn't let his precious seat. Instead, he threw quite a disgusting look. Seriously!!
